Emergency Preparedness and Response

 

The OES team manages the Yurok Tribe's response to natural disasters, hazards, and other crises. Our goal is to increase education and community preparedness, save lives, reduce suffering, and lead mitigation and recovery efforts by the Yurok Tribe.

We develop emergency plans and procedures, coordinate disaster response, provide crisis management, and collaborate with tribal, federal, and local governmental officials in support of the Yurok Tribe, tribal members, and community members.
